The Suburban Symphony Orchestra 53rd Season: 2007 - 2008

In 1955, a group of serious musicians devoted to promoting fine music founded the Suburban Symphony Orchestra to continue to develop as musicians and share their love of music with the surrounding community. For the last fifty years, aside from infrequent special events, all concerts are offered free-of-charge to our audiences, The orchestra has built a solid community following.

The Suburban Symphony Orchestra presents a varied repertoire of musical literature from Bach to Weber. Our concerts have featured guest soloists who are professional musicians from the area as well as from out-of-state. The "Winter Lights" pops concert is tailored to appeal to all age groups and draws a large family audience. The annual Young Soloists' Concerto Concert showcases Northeast Ohio's most gifted student musicians.

The orchestra members, of all ages and professions, come from varying ethnic and social backgrounds and are true lovers of their art. Those who perform, as well as those who listen, are enriched by the Suburban Symphony Orchestra experience.
